As you already know before beginning any regimen of diet and weight loss consult with your physician. There is a nice lunch idea that you may want to try and it only takes fifteen minutes and serves 4 and it is called grilled almond butter and berry sandwiches.
Here are the ingredients needed:
- 1 package (6 oz) fresh raspberries (1-1 1/2 cup),
- 1/4 cup raspberry fruit spread,
- 8 slices whole grain bread or whole grain cinnamon swirl bread and
- 1/2 cup creamy almond butter (mufa).
The fruit spread instead of regular jam cuts your sugar intake by a third. Now this is how you start, mash fresh raspberries into raspberry spread in small bowl with fork. Spread 4 slices of the bread with 2 tablespoons each of the almond butter. Spread about 3 tablespoons each of the berry mixture over the almond butter and top with remaining bread slices. Lightly coat outsides of bread with cooking spray, place sandwiches on large nonstick griddle or skillet over medium-low heat (in batches, if necessary), cook 5 to 7 minutes, turning halfway through, to brown both sides. Cut each in half and serve.
Recommend your drinks be 4 (8) ounce glasses of water on ice. The nutritional count breaks down like this; 390 calories, 10 grams of protein, 46 gram of carbohydrate, 7 gram fiber, 20.5 gram fat, 2 gram saturated fat, O mg cholesterol, 395 mg sodium.
You also know that the more water you drink the less you eat, because your body believes that it has already eaten. Good health is important, isn't it? Isn't it true, you are what you eat? Now let me ask you, would you prefer to eat healthy and live longer or would you rather eat junk food and die sooner?
